Local Pickup and Delivery Policies

Pick-Up Guidelines:

Customers are welcome to pick up their items for free. We ask to let us know 24 hours in advance if there any changes to your original pick-up time and date set at the time of sale. Some items do require time to assemble (at no additional charge to you!) and we ask for your time and patience if your item(s) is/are not ready at time of purchase. We will organize a time and date for you at the point of purchase for you to come and load your merchandise. A copy of your invoice is required in order to pick up your order.

It is up to your responsibility, as the customer, to thoroughly inspect the item prior to loading into/onto your vehicle and noting any exterior damage. We can help load your items into/onto your vehicle, but for liability and insurance reasons, Aloha Furniture cannot assist you in securing any items to your vehicle nor is responsible nor liable for any damages to the merchandise during or after loading, during transport, and for any vehicular damage, vehicle accidents or personal injuries during loading and once the merchandise has left the Aloha Furniture and/or Warehouse loading deck. Please be prepared and bring any items that will help secure your purchased items to your vehicle (i.e. rope, straps, cords, blankets, how to tie rope knots). For any issues with the merchandise discovered at home, it is your responsibility to inform us and return the merchandise to Aloha Furniture for service, exchange, and/or refund.

Delivery Guidelines:

We are happy to arrange the delivery of your furniture for an additional charge determined at the time of sale in the State of Oregon. Our Delivery Department will contact you the evening before your scheduled delivery day to confirm and ask for any special details we need to know in order to make your delivery as smooth as possible. In most cases, you will be given a 2-hour delivery window. Due to liability limitations, the delivery crew CANNOT move your existing furniture within your home. 

Please clear your room(s) prior to delivery service arrival. Aloha Furniture stands behind all manufacturer warranties available, and customers hereby agree to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions pertaining to their warranties provided with your purchase.

Aloha Furniture and its affiliates will be indemnified and held harmless of any liability arising from warranties and any other third-party claims. Any liability is limited to the greater of the price paid less delivery and processing or $100. Delivery and packaging costs are not covered by any warranty that may be provided. A waver is to be read and signed at the point of purchase, agreeing to our Delivery and Return/Cancellation policies.

(Due to COVID-19 for the safety of our team we cannot touch, move, remove, and dispose of any furniture or home goods from your home)

As a note, moving furniture is a service that requires a lot of skill and technique. Our team is very well trained, with many years of experience. All furniture will be opened, thoroughly inspected, and blanket-wrapped before loading to our truck. We will handle the transportation of your items with the upmost of care and to your satisfaction.

Although, we do not recommend drop-offs for large items. It is in the best interest of the customer to have our expert crew take care of their new furniture without potentially damaging or hurting themselves.

After your items are safely placed inside your home, it is up to your responsibility to conduct a thorough inspection of your item(s) in order to make sure your item has been properly delivered with care. Please contact us immediately while the delivery team is in your home if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right!

Please read the following list to help you prepare for the delivery of your merchandise.

  • Someone 18 years of age or older must be home to accept and sign for the delivery.
  • It is up to your responsibility to clear the room(s) in which your new furniture will be placed. Our delivery team cannot move or remove existing furniture.
  • Confirm your delivery information, including any useful details regarding HOA rules, gate codes, parking information, narrow roads etc.
  • Once the room(s) for delivery is cleared, decide where your new furniture should be placed.
  • Double-check measurements to make sure your new furniture will fit easily between doorways, stairwells, halls, corners, etc. 
  • Lay down any blankets, cardboards, protective equipment on the floor or walls prior to delivery in the event of any damage during delivery. Aloha Furniture will be indemnified and held harmless of any liability for any damage to your property or the merchandise in the event of transporting your merchandise to your designated room of choice.
  • If you need to reschedule the delivery, please contact us 24 hours in advance of your scheduled delivery.
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable. Returns/Exchange of purchased merchandise are included with your delivery fee so you don’t have to bring the merchandise back to our store!

Oregon


For convenience we offer delivery and setup right to your home with our own veteran crews and trucks! To help making the delivery as smooth as possible, we ask that you move any old furniture and clear a path way to the room. All furniture will be opened, inspected, and blanked wrapped before loading to our truck. We will be calling you the evening before and give you a 2 hour window so you don’t have to wait all day at home.

Fee: $99 unlimited pieces, if we have to make multiple delivery, you will NOT be charge extra.
Zone: We deliver within 30 miles of our stores that should cover all of Portland Metro areas including as far West as Forest Grove, East as Gresham, and South as Woodburn.
Long distance: any distance farther than 30 miles will be an extra $2.00 per mile; we will use Google Maps to calculate the distance from our store to your home.


Washington State 


Unfortunately, we do not deliver to Washington State, however Washington customers could contact Top Line Deliveries, Inc. and work out a contract with them. We believe Top Line Delivery charge 4.5% of the total sale or $129.00 whichever higher to Vancouver areas, they also deliver to other Washington State areas with a slightly higher charge.
